Update #23- My mother was moved out of the hospital and to a physical therapy facility. She can now move her thigh muscle in her left leg. The facility is working her to the bone, she has to sit up and eat at a table for every meal and they have her moving around for a few hours each day. My dad while still on a respirator was able to breath on his own for 72 hours. Yesterday he was moving his hand around playing a form of charades, trying to converse with my brothers. Today he was moved to a step down unit. Today he seems more tired which could be due to the stress of the move.
