Update: After a verrrry long bus trip back to the start line, a piggy back ride from a fellow injured runner, a very painful hobble to the info tent, and a wheelchair ride back to the medical stations, diagnosis is unclear. It doesnt seems to be soft tissue damage, but possibly a stress fracture in my tibia. The doctor suggested getting an X-Ray today if I could at an Urgent Care and gave me a pair of crutches. So...well see how bad the damage is. Thank you for all your concern and well wishes! I wish I had better news!
