Update...Bennie Foard...Friday, July 18th...Back to the hospital today with NO RAIN...HOORAY!!! Missed seeing my sweet Bennie yesterday!!! The hospital called this morning and said they were going to take Bennie outside!!!!!!!!!! First time since March 4th when we first went to the emergency room at BSA in Amarillo. I was at the chiropractor in Wylie (been down in my back). Janie called me there and I was soon finished and on my way to pick her up and head to Baylor. How excited we were...He got to go to the 3rd floor and sit on the balcony. We facetimed with Cheryl so she could see too...(technology??? Awesome) Bennie loved being OUT for a few minutes. He could see the BIG BAYLOR and Dallas Theological seminary from the balcony. He said how good it was to feel the breeze and the sunshine on his skin. OH, WE TAKE SO MUCH FOR GRANTED!! It was another step forward today...Thank you Jesus!! They changed his treach out today just so there would be no infection that might start. The old one had been in for a long time...since Amarillo. The 2 doctors that came this morning are bowled over with his recovery thus far. We give ALL the credit and PRAISES to our ever faithful Lord and Savior. He is the GREAT PHYSICIAN. Thank you each and everyone who has followed our journey through ups and downs, thick and thin, good and bad. We are in awe of your love and prayers for us and this entire situation. Please continue to bring our needs before the throne of God. In FAITH, we still hold to the hem of His garment believing for complete healing.
