Update Day 48: After a week long battle with the insurance company, were happy to inform you that they have reversed their decision. They accepted our appeal and Amanda will be transported to Herman Hospital TIRR today...GOD LISTENS. Yesterday was an incredible day for Amanda in her continued recovery. First, she was upgraded to a 1.6 on the Rapport Coma Scale from 2.4. Patients are rated from 0-4 with 0 meaning they are no longer in a coma state. While, there is still an abundance of rehabilitation to accomplish at TIRR, were grateful for the opportunity to provide Amanda with the best care possible. The insurance company was no match for Amandas mother because a mothers love for their kids cannot be denied! Amanda has progressed from doctors initial prognosis that she would never wake up from her coma due to the severity of her injuries. Your prayers and support have provided her with the strength and resilience...GOD LISTENS! Were so blessed to have an army of prayer warriors that have supported our family throughout this journey. We sincerely thank you from the bottom of our hearts. We respectfully ask that you continue to keep Amanda in your prayers as she begins the long road towards full recovery. We believe that God has given Amanda an opportunity to live a long and productive life in his honor. We praise our almighty God for demonstrating his power of healing on Amanda. We have witness a miracle and wait for him to complete his work. In Gods name we pray. Amen
