Update: Emily Grace had a really good night. Her bowls are moving right along. She had her arterial line and neck line (not sure of the name) removed! She was transitioned from the high flow cannula to the regular nasal cannula last night. She is only getting 1/2 liter flow. She should be off of this sometime during the day. She only has her IV in. Yay!! So.... We can finally hold her and give her snuggles!!! The X-ray showed only a small amount of fluid so the diuretics are working! Praise Jesus! Emily will be moving to 8 east today (step down). This girl is doing fantastic! For a bi-vent repair, this has been smooth sailing. I dont think it could have gone any better. BCH has the best doctors and nurses (this includes you, Brenda and Katia)! We are in great hands.
