Update Friday 7:00am We are now beside, Lisa and I. Watching Shelly work through her grogginess. Rylans great grandma is with her watching her sleep. Rylan was a rock star again last night. One wake up for bottles and diaper, then right back to sleep. She is a little angel. Things in ICU sometimes operate on their own schedule. Shelly is thankfully not a critical, emergency type patient. So as things happen around in the other rooms, our timeline gets adjusted. This is NOT a complaint. The staff here have been amazing, and Shelly has been one of their top priorities. But, now, there are other people in need, so we can patiently wait. Shelly is laying here with her white boxing gloves on. Every now and then she raises both hands and then drops them back down. She makes a few faces of discomfort due to the tubes in her nose and throat. And a few tears roll down her cheeks as her mother and I wipe her face. I dont know if I have ever seen her this beautiful. Hopefully, happy updates to come soon. Thank you all for your continued prayers. You have carried my family through this week.
