Update: Garretts lab results are back and it is bad news. His long chain fatty acids are very abnormal. They need to do a bunch of very specific DNA testing but they said it is either adrenal leukodystrophy or another paroxysomal disorder. They already scored his MRI with the new results and he is a candidate for a bone marrow transplant ASAP. Going to meet with geneticist tomorrow. Please add Garrett to every prayer chain you can think of immediately.
