Update: Got my PET Scan =Positron emission tomography (PET) It is used to detect if there are any cancer cells left. Ok...so I had my second mini breakdown this weekend...I cried for 5 min, and then I made Randall laugh..I told him ok my five minutes are up! He said what? I said I allow myself 5 mins to cry when I need to and my 5 mins are up! With that he laughed...and I had to laugh with him. I told him I am so sick of bad news and I am ready for GOOD NEWS NOW!!! I am trusting in God for this...I am thankful for God showing me favor, I am believing I walk in devine health!!! NOONE can put an expiration date on a human!!! So I am believing that EVERYDAY and EVERYWAY I am getting Stronger and Stronger!!!! I am a VICTOR NOT a victim!!!! My chemo starts this week, Prayer Warriors, get the Praying on harder PLEASE!!!! Jan Bristow I always remember that voice of yours telling me many years ago...that pain is necessary, but misery is optional!!!! (that is why the 5 min limit on pity parties ...LOL) And please dont forget to continue to pray for my sister out in California Pat Chase, and my friends Patty Gleaton Dobbins, and Katrina Rogers As we all are fighting cancer!!!!! I also want to thank Georgia Gail Heruska who so kindly volunteered to take me to appointments if needed....I will keep that in mind...and many hugsssssss and much love to you!!! I love both of my sons Brandon Hughes and Randy Hughes for being there at the hospital when I needed them the most!!!! I also want to thank my beautiful sisters Debra Mercer for helping me when she can and my sister Rosslyn Hughes Carter for taking me to my appointments also...thank my other sister Jenelda Cambata Taylor for coming to see me in the hospital. I am so thankful for Tommy and Betty Brown...Betty has been the greatest rock and support for me since she went through her own battle with cancer... And let me tell everyone, that I have the most Awsome Family from both Randalls and my sides that came to hospital to support both Randall and me at our scariest time!!!! And I am thankful for hugs from Jacson, Chase, and Erin...That means the world to me!!! Please keep Erin and Greggs mom Polly in your prayers as well as she is working to get well. And thanks for Gregg and Lee Corbett Brown for checking on me even though they were going through a lot with their precious baby Cullen!!!!! I love you all and am so very thankful for each and everyone of you!!!! Thank you ...Thank you...Thank you ...from the bottom of my heart!!!! Chemo, here I come!!!!!
