Update: Logan was discharged from the hospital and is now staying in the hospitals inpatient rehab program. This is great news! Every day Logan is getting 3 hours of physical therapy, occupational therapy and speech therapy. He is doing great and progressing quickly. Logan is still working on his swallowing but everyday he gets closer and closer and he really is starting to look like himself again. Its so nice to see my little man smile and laugh again, I especially love seeing his fun personality coming back out. We are in the process of working out the details for the proton therapy in San Diego but it sounds like we will be heading that way the middle to the end of next week. We will be saying a lot of prayers between now and then hoping that Logan will start swallowing. The good news is our little Supermans muscles in his throat have started moving, his gag reflex is back, and he finally has feeling in his mouth and throat. We are sooo very excited about those things and feel that with a whole lot of prayers and help from our amazing speech therapist we will have our boy swallowing just in time for the proton therapy.
