Update: Not alot to report since its a weekend; nothing new from the doctors, maybe tomorrow. Caleb is a free man in the sense that he has no active IV going, the incision is looking good so no more bandage on it & he was upgraded on his diet to liquids (not just clear). He had a very uneventful night and was comfortable enough he didnt have to use any medication to sleep. He is still dealing with those annoying headaches but thats minor. Asher came to see him before bedtime and he was glowing with happiness because little man was comfortable enough to climb up into bed and hang out, he just made sure Daddy knew he wasnt tired. Total side note, I woke up in a panic because I had one of my animated dreams and decided to take my wedding rings off while sleeping, I remember my fingers hurt and were swollen in my dream...finding them was fun, since I sort of tossed then about, and chilly; someone decided to turn the thermostat in this room down to 55 degrees. Thankfully Caleb was freezing too so we fixed that quickly, shivers when you hurt stink. Heres to a quiet, uneventful weekend and more strides in a homeward direction. I came back to the room last night to find him cruising through Facebook and smiling! Thank you friends for keeping up with Caleb and praying for him. I find that I enjoy sharing how he is doing but do it more for journaling purposes...regardless, all the positivity is appreciated.
