Update ONE: JPF meeting held with Alderman JP Smith and Metro Police. One of the GREAT outcomes from our meeting with Metro Police is: Starting from Monday 21 July 2014 when schools re-open, Law Enforcement vehicles and staff will be allocated to the 3 High schools in the area, also covering the adjacent schools. Particular hotspots like Janari, Nerina and Central Park as well as Boundary schools will be covered, as well as the gangetjie at the Crossing. in the mornings and when learners come from school. This is in a bid to keep our kids safe. Parents at home are encouraged to please make sure that Law Enforcement Officers are present and report if they are not there.
