Update On Sabrina - The Pregnant Boxer at the shelter. The shelter is closed today for the holiday but they allowed me to come visit her. She is in full blown protective mode over her puppies right now and she is very very scared. We will be getting her and the pups out in the morning as they have to finish the paperwork and have to do their medical evaluation on all the pups as this is protocol and they are super short staffed today due to the holiday. Thank you Cheryl for stepping up to foster this sweet girl and her babies. And thank you to all that offered to foster. We were trying to keep her very local as right now she would not handle a long transport as she is very stressed. And because she is being so protective we are blessed that one of our experienced fosters stepped up to help. Once she gets into her own room where it is quiet and peaceful she will calm down. I cant imagine having 9 babies in that noisy shelter. It is very overwhelming to her and she is so scared. So Sabrina and her pups will be with us tomorrow.
