Update Report: Roxanne is still on life support while they continue to treat the organs. Due to her heart and lung condition requires more time to bring it to the level needed for the surgery. The heart is at 10% capacity and for the medical staff to raise between 40 to 60%. Stronger medication requires 24 hours to improve the heart rate. The lung is a bit blurry and also requires more medication. Roxanne’s body is still there for people wishing to say their final good bye. The anticipated time for OR may happen on Thanksgiving or Friday. I am good with the delays until the organs are ready for transplant to save more lives. I have learned so much from One Legacy staff. As a teacher immortal, Roxanne continues to teach us from the hospital bed! Please feel free to say your final good bye at Northridge Medical Center, Room 2410. The nurses and OL’s representative are available to answer any questions about Roxanne. Let me know if you want to come by and will be sure to be there to walk you through the process. I am moved by all the beautiful sentiments and photos posted on Facebook. Memorial services tentatively in January with quite a few friends to fly in.
