Update: Talea continues to attend school half day and seems to be getting her energy back. She struggles with feeling anxious/nervous if her stomach hurts or she does not feel good but with time, this should improve. Her nightmares are also occurring less frequently. The medical bills and co-pays continue to come in. One bill alone was over $238,000. One doctor co-pay alone was over $3,000. The fundraiser brought in over $12,000 and many giving folks contribute directly to her parents ~ all of which they are grateful for.
