Update: There are still emergency crews at the scale check point on Highway 14 that include an ambulance, police officers, firefighters, patrols, sheriffs, etc. Highway 14 is open and I was able to get to work. There is a police officer at the end of our road stopping each person that comes through Industrial Road informing us of the risks. While we are out of the one mile radius evacuation, it is only by 1/4 of a mile and he has told each of us, it is too close for their comfort but we have to understand that we are responsible for our own safety since we are choosing to enter into work. Also, I truly never realized how close that plant is in relation to my work. I noticed it this morning while coming to work. Really crazy. Anyways, that is all I have for now.
