Update about the missing service dog in Kissee Mills, MO area: Our search is still on full time. She was spotted (picture identification verified) but not captured. We spent the day searching Rockaway beach yesterday where a man said he saw her. Original post: Hello, we are Julia Scott Tew & Brannon Tew. I am deaf and disabled (battling brain tumors.) Thursday night about 6pm my service dog/our pet, Ginger, went missing from our farm I mile East of Shadow Rock Park between Kissee Mills and Forsyth. 18535 US HWY 160. She was playing with a neighbor dog. They didnt answer our call to come home. Two hours later the neighbor dog came to our house, but ginger did not. We think she chased something into the woods near swan creek because theres been no sign of her on the roads. She has a collar with tags, but no microchip. She is 2.5 years old, 45 lb Visla. Her sleek coat is described as golden rust. Vizslas look a lot like a red headed Weimaraner. Can you help us get the word out to help us get her back? What other information could I provide you with? We are very interested in hiring a dog tracker (search & rescue type) if you could help us locate one. I dont use the voice phone, as my tumors have left me deaf, but my husband Brannons phone number is on her collar, 417-773-6662. Please share and call the number above with any info, thank you!
