Update on #3: Still hanging in there but still a bit unsteady. Ive been giving her Nutri-Drench and Sav-a-Chick for energy and to keep her hydrated. I decided she would benefit from not spending another night alone in the brooder, so took her down to the coop. I showed her to Violet who had settled in for the night with her two babies under her. Violet took one look at the little peeping chick and sort of stood up and squatted so I could slip the chick under her. She immediately clucked at her and used her beak to tuck her a bit further underneath. The chick will be fine for the night. Ill be down at sunrise to check on things and decide how to proceed from there. I think the contact with Violet and the other chicks will be beneficial tonight....
