Update on Blind Strength: It looks like 8 hours ago the amazing Sheldon Air Service had an opportunity to fly to base camp and get the first round of stranded climbers on the mountain. The weather let up and they flew back Russians, Chinese, Polish folks and a guy from Kazakhstan among the many others (including many Americans) that were stuck at the first base camp. They all arrived safe. Holly, at Sheldon Air Service, left a bunch of goodies at the base camp for when our guys from Blind Strength arrive. They are still making there way down the mountain, I guess. I havent spoken to Marty since my Birthday on Saturday. This is great news and I bet everyone is as relieved as I am to hear it. It seems everybody got more than they expected from mother nature. I will keep everyone posted as soon as I hear from Marty. Please like Sheldon Air Service their professionalism and care for all the climbers on the mountain is wonderful and rare.
