Update on Dana. Its been almost 4 months since Danas massive stroke. He is fighting like no other I have seen and we are so very proud of him. He still has complete paralysis on his left side but is working very diligently through therapy to try to work on muscles and nerves on that side. He is at Oceanside hospital and just had the left side of his skull replaced (swelling in brain went completely down). I personally would appreciate it if anyone is in the area to go and visit with him. He really needs support right now. As you can imagine, it is taking a lot of motivation to keep him fighting. Dana is very emotional from the damage to his brain and I know it would help with support from his friends. He is in room 218 at Oceanside/Peninsula Rehab. I know this will be so heartfelt and warming to him. The encouragement will be deeply appreciated and help through his recovery. Also thank you all so much for the prayers being sent through these past 4 months. I know it has helped. I am so thankful and proud of my children also. They have been amazing and strong through this whole process. I only hope that soon Dana will be able to go to the fields throwing balls to Brett again and visiting Carly in Gainesville. Any encouragement from yall would be greatly appreciated. Dana would love it :) He also has his phone so if you cant make it for a visit, a phone call or text with some words of wisdom will also do!! :) luv u all.
