Update on Haley. We had an appointment with her neurologist today. Shell be starting a second medicine. Itll take a few weeks to get to the full dosage. Then we watch and wait. If this combo keeps her from having the daily mini seizures ( eye fluttering when in sunlight) , then shell have an EEG. If it shows no seizure activity, we can start the 6 month count down to getting her drivers permit. Were hoping to see no new side effects from the meds, loss of appetite ( shes at 105 lbs, she doesnt need to loose any weight!), and loss of concentration and problems recalling certain words. We were also given a med to help her if she would have a prolonged seizure. So, please continue to keep her in your prayers. I know its not so bad in the scheme of life and we should be thankful, but I believe that with prayer and perseverance, life could be a bit easier for her.
