Update on Heidi (our dog): she had another surgery on the eye yesterday. When she hurt herself, she damaged the part of her eye that controls the fluid intake/outtake and this somehow changed the structure of the eye and the eyelids no longer move correctly with the eye. She will not regain her sight in that eye. She is not in any pain. And as long as she is able to tolerate how they have repaired the eye, they wont have to actually remove it. But if it becomes overly irritated or she has any trouble with it, they will go in an remove it. She is in good spirits and I have assured her that she is still gorgeous.
