Update on Larry Nixon - the neurologist showed us his CT scan, which showed a lot of tissue damage. She said this was a significant stroke. He still has no movement on his left side but face drooping has improved. He can talk but his speech is very slurred so its difficult to understand him. He understands and can process complex information, so his cognitive skills are good. He was being treated for bronchitis so they are giving antibiotics for that and will do a chest x-ray to monitor that. He will remain in ICU for 1-2 days then spend at least thru the weekend in the hospital. Then well see whats next - probably rehab.
