Update on Liverpool Yellow Duckmarine Incident A Statement from London Duck Tours Managing Director - John A Bigos In response to the Liverpool incident involving Yellowduckmarine on 15th June - and we stress again London Duck Tours is not related to this company - never-the-less, as a responsible business, we have decided to undertake a full and comprehensive review of all our processes including a full physical audit and inspection of the fleet. This exercise will take some 24 man hours per Dukw. We anticipate but cannot guarantee at this stage to have this work completed by the 28th June. In the interim, the company will be operating a limited full road and river service. We acknowledge our tours are extremely popular so we will also provide a land only service as we build back up to a full service in the next few days. The quality of our vessels and the safety of all our passengers remains our absolute priority. London Duck Tours would like to stress that it continues to hold every and all the required licences and insurances to operate without restriction. We apologise for any inconvenience this has and will cause but consider it prudent to take this action as the European leader in this sector. London Duck Tours fully understand that you may have concerns and wish to better understand the company’s risk assessment procedures. Should you have any questions please do not hesitate to email Matt Watts at [email protected]
