Update on Melissa Consin Young: My heart is filled with such joy!!!!! Your prayers are so good, so purposeful and have been heard loud and clear by our Heavenly Father!!! Melissa, Jack and Sergio had the most amazing time tonight at Jacks Halloween dance at his school. It was an absolute miracle that she was able to go. Her blood pressure was so low today, she couldnt even get out of bed. They gave her an extra bag of IV fluids before she left to help sustain her through the event. Melissa shared with me that because of your prayers, support and love, she was able to find the strength to push through, pull it together and make it there. At the last minute Jacks amazing kindergarten teacher from last year called to say that she had delivered a wheel chair to their house so that she would have it to use for the dance. Otherwise, there would have been no way Melissa would have been able to stand or even walk into the school. God was so ever-present as she got ready, got Jack ready and attended the dance. One of the most beautiful things we can give our children are memories. Thanks you your unending prayers for this family, you have filled their hearts tonight with so much love and gratitude and a memory for a little child that will last with him forever. I dont think I can fully express through a post on Facebook how much tonight meant to them, especially Jack. But just know that all of you carried her there tonight through your prayers. This precious wise guy as Jack calls it (I.e. Mobster) will always know that his mommy was front and center at his 1st grade dance. The treasures stored in heaven from your selfless and loving actions this week are overflowing tonight. I thank God for each and every one of you. You dont have to take the time to read this, like it, comment or pray. But your genuine hearts still do for this wonderful family. Sometimes there just arent enough ways to say thank you....
