Update on Moscows Tour of Latvia: After 2 games both teams have 1 win each and all to play for in Sundays decider. In game one after winning the toss and putting the opposition in we got off to the perfect start with B.Chakravathy taking a blinder in slip of the very 1st ball and T.Siriwardena taking another off the next ball, Moscow was immediately on the back foot with 5 wickets falling inside the first 6 overs. They were bowled out for 88. A.Fernando - 4wkts P.Bajpayee - 3wkts In reply the top 5 chased the target inside 14 overs and registered a comprehensive win. In game 2 Moscow fought back to tie the series in a closely fought battle ending in the last over. Batting first we scored 140-4 in 20 overs. M.Jayanth top scored with 48 H.Qureshi , B.Chakravathy & A.Fernando chipped in with runs. Moscow got off to a good start & lost their way in the middle but a few lapses in the field saw them cross the finish line in the last over although a flurry of wickets at the end made it a tight contest. Tomorrow the final game begins at 10.30am in Tukums. Come along and support us so we can win the series 2-1.
