Update on Roger. He had the broncoscopy on his lungs done this morning at St. Thomas in Nashville, we had to be there at 6:00 am and they did the procedure at 8:00 am. He came through the procedure ok, they had to gradually put him to sleep to do it, because of his heart being out of rhythm and his heart rate running high. The lung specialist that did the procedure said that the coughing up of blood he has had is from the pneumonia that he had in both lungs a couple of weeks ago. He did take some specimens from his lungs and we wont hear the results from those until Thursday. He said that everything else looked ok. He said that it would be ok for his heart doctor to go ahead and start him on a blood thinner, he wants him to be on the blood thinner 2-3 weeks before they shock his heart, because of the high risk of a blood clot or stroke. He now has to try and get his heart back into rhythm and get his heart rate to stay down. Please keep Roger in your prayers and we are praying that the doctor can get his heart back into rhythm and get his heart rate down and we are praying that the results from the specimens from his lungs that he took today will be ok.
