Update on Sean .....Good day overall. More sleep last night , no vomiting today. At noon we went to the survivor and caregiver luncheon here at Hope Lodge. Good lunch and a very good discussion afterward. Sean and I also discussed that he will not feel as bad as he does now so soon after chemo. He was under the impression that he wouldnt feel better until all of the chemo is finished, but, he should start feeling better in a few more days. When he begins to feel really good it is time for the 5 day chemo to begin again. I told him getting chemo is like going in to get the flu on purpose- achy body, nausea, etc. Uncle Pat and Aunt Nancy are here from Indiana for a visit. Sean and I were so glad to see them. Nothing like family to cheer us up. I had washed the bedding and Nancy made his bed up for him. They didnt stay overly long but will be back tomorrow. After they left we called the on call oncologist with some questions. There was a delicious looking pasta for dinner tonight but Sean got a hot sub from Subway. He is a bit wary of tomato sauce. More tomorrow. I like it that my post is a bit boring tonight... it means that nothing scary happened today. May I have many more routine days to report.
