Update on Shay: Shay has severe swelling in her neck, most likely from some sort of trauma. She could not swallow because of the swelling, cannot swallow. She also has really foul breathe that reminds you of bad colic with reflux but she has no reflux, she has good gut sounds and she has a normal rectal exam. So... we treated the swelling, we gave her a gallon of oil to help anything that might be stuck and we gave her antibiotics for any infection that might be brewing. Tonight we are going to pray a lot and reevaluate in the morning. She is also showing neurologic symptoms and was very unstable in the rear.
