Update on Shealyn Thomson.. Shea was all ready for the day when I got in today....dressed, bathed, up in the wheelchair and the shades open!! Ive come to realize this just happens on Tuesdays... Why? Because its our weekly rounds meeting day!!! Would be nice if this were every day! The meeting individuals went over Sheas recent activities or concerns, her fall, her C- diff and the fluids that have formed in her abdomen. The radiologist did not want to drain the fluid so they are waiting till Thursday to take another cat scan as that will be the one week point of her being on antibiotics. They are hoping that the fluid has subsided and can pinpoint another going home date, but if not major decisions have to be made! Fingers crossed my prayer warriors, fingers crossed! We are so close to home, I can taste it....and my hubbys cooking!! We have a wheelchair, a walker, a commode and the Lions Club of Plymouth NH may have a shower seat and bath rail! I thank everyone for the suggestions and offers as these are not the norm to be purchasing for a 25 yr old!! Shea, I know you say your not following this blog but if by chance you come across it, just know that this momma is your biggest fan and I pray that there will be a day you will look back and say WOW!!! I just know you are a survivor and you still have time and the rest of your life to make dreams come true!!!! Just keep on believing.....
