Update on Shealyn Thomson... Shea was pretty much the same today and I wont complain..another day to gain our strength!!! I did have some of a frustrating day though...as when I got to the ICU today Sheas nurse toke me they were full and needed Sheas room and they had wanted her to go to the CMMC rehab but they wont take patients that are still on the med pole....that they are going to see if there are other hospitals in the area that will take her...she said the doctor will be in to talk to us...well...Dr. Tang is off this week so I waited most of the day to see the dr on call.. Shea still has two chest tubes and a trach that have to be surgically removed and still has not stood on her feet in close to eight weeks...during that time she has pretty much been on life support!!! They need her room?????? Well I stepped out quickly to get a bite to eat and the dr came in and said they were going to wean her off the pole and give her oral...I will be there first thing tomorrow morning to talk to whomever I have to!! I really dont think that girl that has gone through what she went through has to hear this..Two months in ICU? We owe them to the moon in back not only greatfully but $$$$fully!!! I will be there first thing in the morning to get to th bottom of this!!! Pray for Shea!
