Update on Sheila Eastep. She came through the surgery really good according to her dad. He told me that she is in ICU , which is their routine. Tomorrow, if she does well tonight, she will have her own room. They did the bone graft and as he stated, Pulled her top jaw forward, just a fraction of an inch. She has the halo, with the adjustment screw in place, and for now theyre keeping her sedated, so she can rest. As I was talking to him , she began to cry and moan loudly with pain, he immediately ended his call to me to attend to her. That was one of the worst feelings of helplessness that I have ever felt. I again, thank you all for your prayers. Those of you that dont know her cant know what a sweet, and brave little girl she is. She had her first surgery when she was only a few days old and she has gone through so many since then that I have lost count. She will have to repeat todays procedure again in 6-8 wks.
