Update on TJ On a bit of a roller-coaster the last couple of weeks. TJ caught the flu and was sick for two weeks straight after her last chemo. Then two weeks ago we went up for her chemo in Albuquerque but were unable to receive it because her white blood cell counts were too low - a side effect of chemo and something which makes her at high risk for getting sick again, infections, etc. They gave her a shot to boost her immune system and we were sent back to LC, expecting to drive to Ruidoso for another booster on Wednesday. Turns out the single shot worked well enough, so we were able to skip the trip to Ruidosos and headed to Albuquerque again last Friday and she was able to get her chemo, although her white cell count had dropped slightly again. So another booster. The good news is despite being so sick and her weakened immune system, her tumor markers have stayed fairly stable, rising only a few points. As always, her Joy in the Lord markers continue to rise. We are reminded everyday that God is good all the time! Thanks for your continued prayers!
