Update on daddy: We start radiation therapy today at 2pm...in atlanta for two weeks on top of hormone therapy that we have been getting for almost three weeks. And yesterday we moved to Signature rehab in Atlanta which is only two miles away from where dads radiation and heart doctors are located. We were lucky enough to find a rehab center that would keep us for 3 weeks and transport us by ambulance to radiation therapy and heart doc appointments as dad hurts too bad to ride sitting up in my van. They will also work on trying to get him to sit upright and trying to stand and possibly walk short distances again before , after 9 long weeks of living in hospitals & rehabs, finally returning home to Cartersville around end of July. After that, I alone have to care for daddy.That will be a herculean task! Please remember him in thoughts & prayers today as he starts radiation. I have been told bone cancer is the most painful way to pass as the pain grows so unbearable that even the strongest doses of pain medicine wont even begin to touch the pain and it is 24/7 agonizing pain. I had to watch mom suffer for over 10 years, and dads has already been going on for six long weeks. This for me is the hardest decade of my life, to watch the two people I love most on this earth suffer cruely and I cant make it go away or even make it better. .honestly, i am beyound tired & pushed WAY past my limits & I passed heartbroken a decade ago....but I know God will somehow see me through, he always does. :-). Please, please remember my little family always in your heart, thoughts & prayers... Love you all bunches!!!
