Update on flooding....this is how a man like me handles the situation.....After seeing the lake yesterday on the farm.....there was nothing I could do at the time other than to go through some emotional stuff first...its always important to acknowledge Im human....then I thought of all the stuff I have been through doing this project....challenges...separation....heartbreak....melanoma skin cancer ( clear ) ...poverty....more heart break....loneliness....turn downs for help.......now this ....after thats all reviewed then I start thinking of all the effort that was made to get out of those sad and low spots and what drives me to do so. Then I go eat myself into the ground...yesterday it was Chinese food....just sitting and thinking....chasing the food with orange crush.....once thats over with then its pretty much the lowest point of the day...especially over eating.....only took about an hour and a half to get there. Thats when the brain kicks in..lol... I dont like where I am at that moment so everything is corrected.......start eating properly for the rest of the day...bring down that sugar....start talking to people.......strategies.....figure out plan b....Kelli my counsellor gonna be really impressed!!!! Plan B kicked in this morning......the creek which over flowed receded last night and that lake I posted yesterday was virtually gone in that part of the field. On my way to the farm I received two calls from two stand up men who had arranged and were coming with an excavator....Im checking the weather and after a little more rain....its going to be beach weather and thats when the farming experience will kick in.....might have to sell the cube van to get seeds to replace some.....the coming heat will mean drying the fields manually as fast as we can. We only have two tractor but I guarantee you by Saturday I will have 5 sitting there if all works out....the five tractors need five drivers so anyone who can drive one show up once they are there.....or ill teach you. The math is done......the extra heat coming..minus one cube van equals the path to getting back on track.....its okay to get down in life as long as the purpose is to hit rock bottom and yes...nowhere to go but up from there.......thanks everyone for your support and comments and yes I always read every one of them.....will post picks tomorrow of the newly dug ditches, the people behind them and the stuff being grown in the greenhouse as part of plan b until the fields dry. I shared this with my close friends at the farm today so Ill leave with this.....there are two things I know about God.....there is a God and Im not him....see you.
