Update on life and the songs/covers/universe...its November..and I still have 13 - (50s number 1s) to go..and 11 - (60s 4s and 5s) to go...should do it...but yes I wanna do a request week at some point..I have Jazzy tomorrow and she has agreed to do 2 songs..so might do something modern..am thinking La Roux...talking of La Roux..she sounds like the Communards meet Erasure..the only reason I investigated was because theres an interview with her in the back of this months Q Magazine...tonight I did a couple of Maroon 5 songs..basically I fancied a break from the 50s..it has occurred to me that if I manage to box off the 90s next year(1s 2s and 3s) then it just leaves 16 years of number ones to go..by 2017 I could actually do the lot!! Now that would be an achievement (discounting Purple Helmet songs of course)..it would be nice to be the bloke that has publicly performed every top 3 ever..on his acoustic guitar..maybe that should be my ultimate goal!! (dont forget Id still have 50s 2s and 3s to do..but they are always kinda fun..and theyre pretty easy..theyre not like Suppers Ready or anything!!)
