Update on little Abby from her wonderful temporary foster mom! Abby was the bait cat that had pancreatitis when we got her and she is proving to be such a wonderful little girl. She is eating now and gaining weight! Really good news as she had refused food for so long! Attached are a few pictures of Abby. She went to the vet on Friday and has gained 10 ounces in the past week. She goes back in two weeks to have her liver enzymes rechecked. She loves organic turkey and has started eating some of the canned gastro (I/D) food. Shes not too big on the dry food. She might be required to remain on this special diet for her entire life to keep her healthy. Shes becoming more social and playful. Still a little skittish which is completely understandable. Thank you to everyone that donated to help - and all of the help from 4 Paws 1 Heart . Abbys bill was over $1500 just for the first round and we could not have helped her without your help!
