Update on mom-UVA Hospital has been very good & thorough for moms care & attention to detail. Moms had more blood work, X-rays, CT Scan, MRIs throughout the day. For a couple of hours they have had her hooked up to a nasal tube, a scope sucking out her stomach. This is to decompress the stomach area. Help get rid of the pain. Its a 24 hour time frame. Causing this rough pain is a bowel obstruction with a stone in the bowel. The liver duct is enlarged. Shes been one sick gal! The plan of attack is to continue with nasal tube, to relieve gases in her stomach & get the stone out! Shes not out of the woods yet. But, shes on the right trail. Thank you, thank you, thank you for your prayers, concern & love for mom!!
