Update on my brother Jon Marsh. Jon has been in surgery since about 2:30 at UCSD. Doctor went in through the rib cage as opposed to the sternum to remove a large blood clot in the motor of his mechanical heart (LVAD). I have watched and fought and worried about and for my brothers heart health, life or death for a few years now. We his family and he, Jon has been through so much. I just need to say to my facebook friends, regardless of your belief system, my family has been carried. By our friends and by our Lord. None of us will leave the planet alive. But Hopefully all of us will leave the planet a better place. My brother will make it through this but if for some reason he doesnt... I know what his legacy is. I know what my legacy is. Do you know what your legacy is?If this process has taught me one thing, it is that our time is limited and how we use it is of incredible importance. I just talked with my sister-in-law and Jon is not expected out of surgery until after 10PM. Please send up prayers for Jon. Thanks
