Update on my brother Steve. He will begin radiation treatment in two weeks. I was mistaken, he will have the aggressive radiation that will last at least 7-9 weeks. He will be given another body scan before the radiation treatments, again to be certain that the cancer has not spread. They could not start the radiation treatment sooner because he got an infection where the incision was in his leg and that has to cleared up first. He is in great spirits. He does not care that he has cancer, he is not worried about it at all!! He said that wherever the Lord wants him, that is where he will be.....it is all up to God. He is more concerned that he cant go back to work!! The American Cancer Society will be providing his travel up and back to the hospital at no charge, and if he needs financial aid in some area, they may be able to help out (gas, electric) So the next couple of months are going to be very rough on him and I know that all of my brothers and sisters in Christ will be praying for him.
