Update on my dad: All of dads numbers have improved tremendously through the night and today! Our nurse was here on Tuesday when he had his episode in the cath lab and she said I truly did not expect him to be here when I came back to work today, let alone be doing this good! They decided to do an EEG to check brain activity so they turned off his sedation and he was moving all around, which is a good sign. They will still need to do a CT scan to get definitive answers on brain function but they cant do that until he is off some of the machines. They were able to take him off all of the blood pressure meds with no trouble and and his blood sugar is now back to normal. Dialysis is still going and they have been able to turn it up so it can pull more fluids off of him which is much needed. They have him scheduled to close his chest tomorrow morning at 8am as long as everything stays stable (that has been interesting as its only covered with a dressing...its amazing the things these people can do). We are happy with baby steps. Keeping the faith...#hulkstrong
