Update on my dad, Dal Felkel: First, THANK YOU. The worn out aortic valve has been replaced and seems to be working well. Dad is alert, doing well, asking for help related to some client matters he wants addressed and even a tad cantankerous. He is really doing well as he approaches his 91rst birthday in January. He has said many times he wants to work up until age 100, and he just might. My family and I have been impressed with the level of attention, service and professionalism of the CVICU team at McLeods Regional in Florence. Incredible group. Drs. Patel, Rau, Huber, Carmichael are top notch not only in their knowledge and approach, but in how they deal with the patient and family. We have also been so blessed to have so many of you keeping Dad in your thoughts and prayers. It has supported him, my mother, and his family and, we are so grateful.
