Update on my letter writing campaign -- I mailed letters to all the BoD and shareholders on Aug 8, with copies to local TV, radio and newspapers. On Friday I got an email from WGBH asking if I would be interested in an interview to tell the customers side of the story. I responded saying i would be willing to discuss it. (Kind of nervous about being on tv.) Today - 2 things happened -- First, I got a phone call back from WGBH, asking my opinions, how I got my news about the M/B situation, what I believed the issues were, etc. They asked asked if I would come by the studio tomorrow (Tuesday) in the afternoon. I told them Id have to call back to confirm (had to get time off of work, make other arrangements for plans I had for Tues). When I called back later, she told me they might be going in another direction and had a call into a couple of Mayors (Lowell and Somerville, I think) and the interviews might go in that direction, rather than with customers. I am on hold until tomorrow -- they will call me in the AM. The 2nd thing -- the Andover Townsman called and asked if they could use my letter in this weeks letter to the editor (and to confirm it was me who wrote it!) They also asked if I could edit it to be a little bit shorter, so I did -- see below the edited letter. Letter writing works!! Send letters!! Send copies to your news outlets!! Let your voice be heard!
