***Update on my life on the ground side*** If it is not rainin, we arent trainin! Got out of the field yesterday that dealt an entire day and night firing the M16 A4 with PECs; for the night fire portion; grenades, M203, and of course the night vision goggles haha. Before I left, my XO warned me, that I would be the first air wing to go to this school in almost three years and the infantry there would try to make a point out of me that I didnt deserve to be there. It has been bluntly obvious that he was correct but I have been the guide for the hikes and some of the infantry and instructors have talked to me on the side and have been impressed with me in the field since I was the platoon sergeant.
