Update on my mom. She is feeling some better since the transfusion. Her blood pressure is still all over and her blood sugar is bottoming out. So they are tryn to keep that under control. The want to drain the fluid from her abd area caused by her liver. This is a very painful procedure. She refuses to do it ever again. The more they times they drain, the faster it comes back. Its a never ending cycle. Unless she changes her mind there is nothing they can do for her vomiting, confusion and stopping the pain except try to keep her comfortable in other temporary ways.. I spoke to her last night for a long time. We both cried. I get it. Im a nurse and I been down this road with my daddy. Its her choice. She has the right to refuse and I will support her. 100% thats my mommy and she is tired of being sick and having no quality of life. Please keep her in prayers and me please. I dont anything else yet. I dont know if she is ready for hospice or if its necessary yet. Will keep u all posted. Ty again..
