Update on my mom: first of all I didnt want to write anything until we knew everything. Thats why I havent posted in so long. Mom is doing great!!!! Very frequent bouts of dizziness. The bleed caused by her fall has resolved nicely. Her aneurism does not need to be dealt with immediately but w/i the next 6 months. For my non medical friends, an aneurism is a widened area in the blood vessel. They are not all life threatening depending on where they are located. Yes, mom has one in her brain but its not in a major artery feeding the brain but if it ruptured she could go blind so we will get it fixed in Denver. So, we have an appointment to consult with the doc the day before Thanksgiving. At that time we will learn wether or not they need to do their own brain scans and then determined l the best procedure to take care of the aneurism. So, what we need help with is lodging. We will be seen at University Hospital in Aurora. It will be me, mom and the kids. Any ideas on inexpensive lodging near there?? EeGads that was a mouthful. Sorry bout that but now you are updated.
