Update on the lad Cbull After a very, very long time toing & froing from Vets to Chiros to Specialists for an injury to his Soleus muscle which has now become a chronic condition we may very well be on the right track to his getting better. Some of you may remember that Cbull accidently swallowed a stone last July 1 year ago..! Well it seem that this has come back to bite him in his stomach which is causing his spleen not to make enough blood for his body which in turn is creating a major problem and giving him dry muscles. This is the reason as to why his Soleus muscle cannot repair, why his muscles are not holding his Sacroiliac joint in place, why his shoulders are so sore and moving in & out, why knees and calf muscles are sore and to top it off his feet very tender and his pads tear so easily. I mentioned to Clare Ellis our Vet from Willunga a couple of weeks ago that he tires very quickly and does not like to walk on rough surfaces, even grass. Clare looked at his feet and noticed his pads were pale grey with black pinpoint spots!!! A sign that something is wrong with his stomach & spleen not producing enough blood for him so his muscles are too dry, hence when we go walkies he simply STOPS. With a dietary change and giving him only very bloodied meats, various veg and other Omega 3 products with Probiotics and Chinese herbs plus an anti-inflammatory & other medications we are seeing an improvement in Cbulls vitality almost overnight. We nearly lost our little man in July 2012 so it will be a long process with his healing as it took a long time for his stomach to create havoc but we will get there in the end with Clares expert above and beyond the call of duty help. Cheers Gillian.
