Update on the schools program - The school my wife is working with is part of a larger system of schools catering for over 4,000 students in Rural Latakia/Turkman/Idlib alone, with members of the administration now spreading to Aleppo and Raqqa with amazing haste. I was initially under the impression that the schools could be individually funded, and that they did not share the same curriculum, to my absolute joy I discovered that they all share a 100% Shariah complaint syllabus, with topics such as the Seerah of the Prophet Muhammad(Sallalahu alayhi wasallam) as core topics. Shariah dress code is also being applied, the $2000 that I put toward womens clothing will go toward the purchase of over 1000 items, including Niqabs, Abayas and winter warmth clothing. I will be helping distribute textbooks tomorrow with the admin team, which I have actually known for over 6 months, and trust wholeheartedly, I am in all honesty ecstatic at the thought that the schools curriculum program is going down such a brilliant path.
