Update onthe sword and Savage Norde situation. We have gone - TopicsExpress

Update onthe sword and Savage Norde situation. We have gone through the whole process with the BBB and have agreed to pay the mediation fee in order to have the BBB bring us to the next level of process (basically a Skype meeting to resolve with them as mediators) but Savage Norde has decided to ignore this and their response date is now past. The BBB sent us directly to WA Gov department that would legally represent us and get this resolved but, after contacting them we have discovered that because we do not live in WA state we can not be helped. We have requested the BBB change their standing in their database and make accessible the complaints. It has also been pointed out to me that we have the rights to publicise the conversation between ourselves and the business as they are a public business and therefore should uphold their end of any agreement, verbal or written and since there is no written agreement between us (& policies were suspiciously posted on line suddenly, after we declared we were willing to pay for mediation) they should, as a business, honour the verbal one. Simply because we are in Canada and not in WA State, we can not finalise this issue and therefore are stuck with a LARGE financial loss and Savage Norde declaring our call to honour agreements bullying. Also... After talking with a number of folks who use blades for one type of performance or another and getting multiple opinions on the blades (every single one remarking that they are not only NOT what we ordered but are NOT correct for our stagefighting and we should have gotten our money back) I am considering that. I highly suggest that, in future you note what the policy actually says and NOT do anything involving amounts over $100.00 unless it is in writing. This includes friends. Business is business and I was a fool to let my heart give the little guy a chance without any return policy or written agreement. And make sure you read any agreement you are handed. Completely and fully. A number of you have shared your negative experiences with me (or a member of my team) and I understand why you keep it one on one but with such a crappy economy, I highly recommend you get the courage to issue a report to the BBB as well. The whole process we went through will not be necessary (unless you feel that need) but adding to the reports on respectable associations pages (Like BBB that checks and works connected to law - instead of sources like Yelp that sits separate and is only an input source) works towards fazing out or supporting improvement of the businesses. It isnt bullying and it isnt intimidation. It is making sure others know what they are getting for their money and what parameters the business works under. Excuse me now... I have to go take pictures of the blades and now try to sell them on Craigslist at a loss to us. I need to purchase blades and raise the money somehow. Thank you for your attention and support. It is much appreciated.
