Update & progress report folks: These past few weeks myself, Aaron & Kelly have been working hard bringing everything together for the fundraising night at the end off this month. Hope you dont mind but Ill get as much as I can in here for you so you are all up to date with exactly whats happening. The tins throughout the local areas in shops etc are packing up daily, weve taken in 2 full ones so far & I can tell you we are overwhelmed with local residents generosity although not surprised because this local area is 2nd to none in giving to various charities, fundraisers etc. The tins are still in shops throughout so any spare change you have no matter how small will be greatly appreciated. Sponsor sheets are also throughout shops etc in local areas & various individuals have them & again feedback that weve got is that people are once again digging deep so again thank you kindly folk & again anyone who wishes to sponsor are more than welcome. The tickets for the night in June are flying out, but dont worry if you havent got 1 as you can pay on the door & like the tickets it will be £5.00. The actual night itself which will take place on Saturday 28th June in Barrington RSC is more or less finalised. The group is booked & as I mentioned b4 they are top drawer & you wont be disappointed. The prizes for the ballot are coming along nicely & again thank you to everyone so far who have donated various items to us, means a lot. We have 1 exceptional piece of sports merchandise so far which will be auctioned off & its something you simply cant buy in the shops. A letter was drawn up & we delivered & sent them to local businesses & indeed popular world renown football clubs to which weve had replies from some but theres still 3 weeks to go & we are hopeful of getting more responses. Other than that the only thing left to say is thank you to everyone so far & I mean everyone who has donated, sponsored & supported everything so far & honestly, we hope the Barrington club will be absolutely packed on the night for what is gonna be a fantastic night for wee Kole. PS: 1 last thing, as you know myself & Aaron are taking part in 2 upcoming 1/2 marathons in Lisburn 18th June & Ards 27th June to raise funds for wee Kole, we have now entered both races so if your free on either or both if the dates wed greatly appreciate your support throughout the routes but particularly at the finish line to cheer us on. You wont miss us as well be sporting our running vests complete with wee Koles picture on them.
