Update re: Urgent appeal to locate missing Catterick Garrison boy - found safe and well Good news, Jonty has been found safe and well. He turned up at a farm house in the Hudswell area, a couple of miles north of Catterick Garrison, at 7.35pm. The owners recognised him from the appeal and contacted the police. We thank the media and members of the public for their support and concern during the search. Jonty Willis-McKendry Original appeal: Police are urgently appealing for the publics help to locate a missing 10-year-old boy from Catterick Garrison. Jonty Willis-McKendry, 10, has not been seen since 11.50am on Tuesday 15 October 2013, when he left Carnagill Primary School in Catterick Garrison. He is described as being small for his age. When he left the school he was wearing a navy sweatshirt, grey trousers and black shoes. Officers are concerned about Jonty due to his age which could make him vulnerable. Police sergeant Heather Campbell, of Catterick Safer Neighbourhood Team, said: Jonty, if you see or hear this appeal, please come home straight away. You are not in any trouble. Your family just want to make sure that you are safe and well, and have you back with them. If you know where Jonty is please contact the police immediately so that he can be returned home. Anyone who can help locate Jonty Willis-McKendry is urged to contact North Yorkshire Police on 101, select option 1 and pass the information to the Force Control Room straight away. 5pm - 15 October 2013 Share this page
